First light with the Apertura 72mm using the ASI533MC Pro and the new OptLong L-Extreme.
A tad over 20 minutes of data. Had to stack in APP since for some reason the new version of PixInSight kept giving me errors I need to figure out.... or go back to the older version.
There was a LOT of smoke haze in the air, at sundown it looked like the sky was on fire it was so thick and when I first set up the rig I could barely find Polaris in the scope for polar alignment.

Have uninstalled PI 1.8.9-2 and reinstalled 1.8.9-1 and so far, where I was having errors, I am not.

Figured out the issue with PixInSight (was a debayer setting that doesn't get used with Mono).

Here is about 2 1/2 more hours of the Western Veil. This was stacked and processed in PixInSight.

The details in these images are absolutely amazing! It's amazing what you can capture with certain types of equipment!
Thanks... still learning and the biggest issue now is the processing of the images... this OSC (one shot color) camera is giving me fits in processing compared to the mono I have been using.
