I can see the benefit of a filter drawer with a OSC setup. But my question is... do you place the filter as near to the camera or do you place it as near to the telescope as possible?
I'm betting on as near to the capture instrument as possible.... less chance of interference with it. But the reason I ask is that on one of my scopes, it has the ability to put the filter in the flattener, which is going to be around 56mm from the focal plane of the camera chip.
